Achievement

A simplified model adequately describes the object when finding Eigen modes < 2 kHz. It has approximately ten times less finite elements and a substantially faster counting time.

Based on calculations in CAE Fidesys, we obtained conclusions for simplified models. Models taking into account symmetry (½, ¼) can be used to optimize the shape of the cover relative to the initial oscillation mode. But these models are not suitable for optimizing sidewall vibrations, because they do not describe the initial mode of sidewall oscillations.
